Advance Your Career This Summer at Bucerius Law School

International experience is a necessity for successful job applicants today, but many students and young executives are unable to commit to a whole semester or year abroad.

Bucerius Law School offers a solution – this summer you can apply to one of two challenging, short-term law programs in Hamburg, Germany: the Bucerius Summer Program (BSP) in Mediation – Effective Representation or the Bucerius Summer Program in International Business Law.

•        During the BSP in Mediation (July 21 – August 9, 2013), participants learn how companies manage conflicts systematically and how conflict resolution projects are designed and implemented. This highly-interactive program, combined with personalized coaching from professional mediators, hones participants’ problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Successful participants earn up to four ABA credits.

•        Inaugurated in 2008, the BSP in International Business Law (July 21 – August 16, 2013) broadens participants’ understanding of topics like corporate governance, international mergers and acquisitions, commercial arbitration and much more. Participants can tailor their schedules to their personal interests and professional needs, earning a total of up to seven ABA credits.

Both praxis-oriented programs are taught in English by renowned guest professors and practitioners, and are open to law students and recent graduates from Germany and around the world. Courses are accompanied by an extensive extracurricular program, which is offered free of charge for participants.
