American Friends of Bucerius and BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt Announce New Fellowship Program

To promote the mission of AFB and the BMW Foundation, we seek to remain on the cutting edge of innovation and new topics in the fields of governance, international cooperation, and international law. To that end, we have come together to establish a new fellowship in the fields of Global Governance, designed in cooperation with the Georgetown BMW Center for German and European Studies.

The Fellowship

The goal of the Fellowship is to address global governance topics within the framework of transatlantic relations, as well as broader international environments. The Fellow will assist in the drafting of concept papers pertaining to the future of the transatlantic relationship, in particular its role in fostering mechanisms to promote good governance and international cooperation within a changing multi-polar world order.

The Fellow

The fellow will be a second-year Masters student from the BMW Center for German and European Studies at the Georgetown Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. They will have the opportunity to conduct original research, contribute to occasional papers, and participate in a conference at the conclusion of their fellowship period under the guidance of, and in cooperation with, the directors and senior staff at AFB and BMW Foundation.
