Dr. Nina Smidt Participates in Columbia Panel

Dr. Nina Smidt, President of AFB and Director Strategic Planning and Business Development for the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, participated on a panel titled “International Philanthropy” at the School of Continuing Education at Columbia University.

The aim of the panel was to provide participants with an understanding of what it means to work in the field of international philanthropy, bring a sense of the challenges and rewards that working internationally can bring, and inspire them to pursue similar activities within their organizations.

Dr. Smidt participated on the panel along with Chris Plutte, Executive Director of Global Nomads Group and Roberta d’Eustachio, Co-Founder and Chief Executive of the Global Media Network AmbassadorsForPhilanthropy.com.
