BLS Summer Program in International IP Transactions
We are very excited to announce that Bucerius Law School will be hosting theirĀ third Summer Program in International IP Transactions, a joint undertaking with UC Hastings College of the Law (San Francisco). The intensive English-taught course offers advanced law students and young professionals an opportunity to join peers from around the globe in developing strong negotiation skills and expanding knowledge in the field of IP.
This year’s program will be held from July 11-30. The three-week sojourn in Hamburg provides a thorough understanding of core IP and licensing concepts and offers insight into industry practice with site workshops to Airbus and Google. Having gained familiarity with both legal and business perspectives of the topic, participants will engage in a two-day negotiation workshop to draft the terms of an international technology license agreement under the guidance of esteemed practitioners.
The program follows American Bar Association (ABA) guidelines to provide participants with a total of 5 ABA credits (equivalent to 10 ECTS points and 700 minutes of classroom time).
