On September 18th, 2014, American Friends of Bucerius, in cooperation with Bucerius Law School, hosted a program at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh on energy transitions and their impacts on the economy in the US and Europe, as part of a larger delegation to Pittsburgh. Looking at the shale gas boom in the US and the renewable energy transition in Germany, the esteemed panelists discussed the implications these shifts held for energy consumers, utility companies, and the private sector.
While in Pittsburgh the delegation also met with German Honorary Consul Paul Overby, the German American Business Circle, FrakTracker Alliance, kWantera, and the World Affairs Council to discuss and share ideas on the latest developments in energy and transatlantic relations.
