Asian Forum on Global Governance 2014

From October 26 to November 4, 2014, the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) will host the fourth Asian Forum on Global Governance in New Delhi, India.

During the event titled ‘Contest for Mindspace: Politics of Competing Governance Narratives,’ over 50 young promising politicians, business representatives, and academics from 36 different countries will discuss social, economic, and political challenges of our time and potential ways to address them. Among the topic of this year’s sessions are: the concept of sovereignty in the 21st century; the interplay between security, technology, and rights; economic growth and social equity in the Global South; and the climate debates.

The Asian Forum on Global Governance is moderated by Shashi Tharoor, member of the Indian Parliament and former Minister of State for Human Resource Development (2012-2014).
