2016 Scholarship Recipients Announced

American Friends of Bucerius is proud to award scholarships to American law students studying abroad at Bucerius Law School through the Bucerius Global Legacy Fund. It is an important aspect of our mission to encourage international cooperation between the U.S and Germany, and there is no better way of doing that than through international exchange for German and American students.

We are very excited to announce this year’s Bucerius Global Legacy Fund Scholars, all of whom will be studying at Bucerius Law School this fall:

  • Stephen Cornelius, Northwestern University School of Law
  • Cale Curtin, University of Virginia School of Law
  • Stephanie Ragland, Boston College Law School
  • Julia von Turk, Washington University School of Law
  • Naoufal Idriss Zouak, Brooklyn Law School

American Friends of Bucerius would not be able to fund these scholarships if not for the generosity of our donors, including awards from the Max Kade Foundation, the Jim and Sabine Hanks Scholarship, the German Benevolent Society of Honolulu, and more. If you are interested in supporting a student next year through the Bucerius Global Legacy Fund or the Bucerius Law School Alumni Scholarship, please contact us atscholarships@buceriususa.org.
