American Friends of Bucerius (AFB) is an independent, charitable 501(c)(3) organization established to develop and support the programs of the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius and its flagship initiatives, Bucerius Law School and Bucerius Kunst Forum. AFB also offers lectures, roundtables, continuing education courses, and other opportunities in the fields of global governance and international law in the United States. Past events have been held in Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and New York City, on topics such as international legal education, energy and law, urban development and sustainability, and philanthropy.
